I would like to personally welcome everyone to my website.
The inspiration for this website came from a recent trip to the Northwest. I would like to thank my friends, Jamie & Benny, for taking the time to show me some of the most spectacular scenery of the area. The pictures used in the banners are from actual photos taken during this trip. I would also like to thank my neice, Skye, for prompting me to re-think my website layout. I re-designed my site based on knowledge of html from my college days.
I hope you enjoy the new layout!

I would like to share some exciting milestones with everyone.
First, my book, Eat Yourself Thin, made it to Talk Radio this week on WSJM AM 1400 & FM 94.9 - The News and Talk of Michigan's Great Southwest. Also this week, Barnes & Noble and Borders BOTH picked it up for their online bookstores! And, Amazon.com is expected to follow suit. Last week, PublishAmerica officially released Eat Yourself Thin on May 27th. Come join us at Lakeside Books in Coloma, MI for our release party!

I would like to thank everyone for a very successful release party.
This past month has been very exciting for Eat Yourself Thin. First, food columnist, Jane Ammeson, gave a wonderful write-up in the Herald-Palladium on June 16th. Next, I entered into the international market with Japan picking it up to be available in their online stores. Also, my book is now available at a few local Michigan libraries for reading and check out. Last week, it was #16 on the non-fiction best seller's list for PublishAmerica; and, this week, it is hanging on at #17!

I would like to thank everyone for such a successful summer.
I have truly enjoyed meeting each and every person over the past few months. From the quick pop-ins of congratulations to the lengthy sit down conversations, it has meant so much hearing your stories, sharing the struggle with weight loss and exchanging tips on cooking! Some exciting news about the near future is that I am entering into negotiations for the publication of my second book! I am also working on a children book for late summer next year!

I would like to thank everyone for a very exciting first year.
My first book, Eat Yourself Thin, is now international in over a dozen different countries on 5 continents! My second book, Finding My Family, is in post-production and will be released very soon. And, my third book, Holmer Family Storytime is in the pre-production stage of publishing with an expected release date in late summer. This year is going to be larger than last year with double the events for two books coming out!

Mark your calendars... new summer events start in a few weeks.
Finding My Family has increased my events, with 3 additional locations and 2 more bookstores during the upcoming summer. Horizon Books has also picked up BOTH, my first and second books, for their online store. And, my second book is already international in half a dozen countries. PublishAmerica officially released Finding My Family on May 3rd. Come join us at Lakeside Books in Benton Harbor, MI's Orchard Mall for our release party!

I have been having a very exciting summer so far.
My first book, Eat Yourself Thin, has been accepted into 50+ libraries throughout Michigan! My second book, Finding My Family, has articles & reviews in over 15 Michigan newspapers, including the Herald-Palladium, the Record-Eagle, and the News Advocate. And, my third book, Holmer Family Storytime was officially released on July 10th!

Mark your calendars... 2012 events start this week!
There are many exciting events to look forward to this year, including: the London Book Fair; National Library week in northern Michigan; Author's convention in Orlando; book signings in three new northern Michigan bookstores; Michigan Author's reception in Benton Harbor; plus, much more. Also, The Dieting Process: How I Ate Myself Thin is in pre-production with an expected release date by the end of the year.
